So where was I?  Oh yeah.... in front of the hotel.  After the photos, we headed inside, and sat down for a much needed beverage while we were being checked-in.  It was a short rest.  To the rooms.  Let's go.  I learned pretty quickly that my normal MO of getting all my shit together before I moved was going to be rearranged with this group.  Hey Ho Let's Go. More than once I was bringing up the rear, having to say my good-byes, or grab all my stuff without what I deemed 'proper notice'.  LMFAO

Future Tense Central,  that is.  It's here, and it's spectacular.  For anyone who hasn't been keeping up with John McAfee lately, he's been busy.......very busy.  Several weeks ago, FTC launched their first product (in a series) designed to return privacy and security to us, the people.  And boy howdy do we need it.

STRANGER THAN FICTION............

In the midst of running for his life, John McAfee was forced to open a can of worms that (I'm sure) he would have preferred remain closed.  It was a very large can.....full of nasty, squirming, slimy worms, covered in dirt.  For years, these slimy creatures, existing under the guise of Belize Officials, have been running their country into the ground, while lining their own pockets.  And it was the attempts on JM's life, which escalated to his life-saving escape from Belize, that forced the opening of that can.  We, the followers of whoismcafee  read every word in awe. Some could not believe any of it, and others concurred saying they had witnessed similar corruption, but most of us were fascinated by the information and fearful for John (& Sam)'s safety, all while wanting more. After all, he wasn't just exposing the corruption in Belize, but a potential threat to the security of America. We waited for what should have happened next.  And waited.

IT WAS TWENTY YEARS AGO TODAY........

Well, okay, it wasn't 20 years, and it wasn't today.....but it was about a year ago.  To think it all began with a comment on WIM...........

I was quite happy to see JM's number on the caller ID....... it's been a while since we last spoke, and I was anxious to see how the Pirates had treated him. Thankfully, they didn't touch so much as a hair on his head (as you will see), and he was lucky to come out unscathed.  His captors allowed him to take this souvenir photo before handing him off to negotiators.  "The only positive part of the whole adventure was being able to stay outside for more than 5 minutes at a time"  he said.
